Procedure for JAI JAWAN Plan implementation

1. The prepaid Jai Jawan plan is to be offered through BSNL CSC only subject to verification of the credential. The personnel may be asked to produce copy of the Identity card to verify the genuineness

of the customer.

2. Only specially configured SIMs allotted for JAI JAWAN plan should be provided with the plan. Plan

Voucher of Rs. 102/- is applicable for these SIMs through CSC only.

3. The scheme of 20 min. free Voice call to two BSNL Mobile/Fixed/WLL numbers any where in the

country while in Home LSA or National Roaming (BSNL Network) can directly be provided to the

customers through CAF Entry in “Sancharsoft” at all SSAs . The Mobile number will be

provided Jai Jawan Plan within next two working days from the issue of the connection. To avail 20

min/day free call facility, Jai Jawan STV should be used.

4. Customers of Jai Jawan plan can also avail reduced call rate facility. The procedure to avail the facility

is same as that given under normal prepaid plans.

Special postpaid “RAKSHAK” plan for All Paramilitary Force & All Armed Force Personnel

RAKSHAK special postpaid plan is applicable only for serving Jawans of “All Paramilitary Forces”

[ Border Security Force (BSF),Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), National Security Guard (NSG), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Assam Rifles] and “All Armed Forces” [Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Coast Guard, BRO etc.] & Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel. The plan is applicable only for Central Armed forces and not for State Armed Forces.

12 Applicability 2G & 3G

Service Tax as applicable will be charged extra.

Note:

i. Under this plan, two Normal SIMs [Main SIM & Home SIM] will be issued/activated from the same CSC

of the circle and bill payments can be made in the home circle. Both the 2G SIM are to be provided free

of charge. In case of specific request from customer for USIM, Rs. 59 will be charged for USIM.

ii. FMC of Rs. 299 is the total fixed monthly charges for two postpaid connections. All tariffs applicable for

main number, except incoming call while roaming, will be the same for home number.

iii. Armed force personnel using BSNL connection and Port-in customers will also be allowed to activate

the special plan subject to verification of credential.

iv. The credential of the Paramilitary or Armed Force personnel is to be verified before activating the plans

by taking a photocopy of his Identity Card issued duly attested by his controlling officer. In case

photocopy of Identity card cannot be submitted, then the officer in-charge should certify the

official and attest the photograph. A self certificate indicating that no other connection is active in his

name under this special plan anywhere in India is also to be taken.

v. The above special plan is allowed for activation through BSNL CSCs only.
