PROCEDURE OF PATCH UPDATION IN DIGISOL MODEM(Model no:DG-BG4300NU ADSL 2/2+)
It is found that in case of DIGISOL modem bearing model no:DG-BG4300NU ADSL 2/2+ some WAN
side protocol ports(e.g.FTP,Telnet, SSH, HTTP, SNMP, UPnP including CWMP) are enabled but due to
security reasons these ports should be disabled. In order to do the same the patch (image file):”DGBG4300NU_B2_FW_31MAY2018_BSNL.IMG” to be uploaded under the Firmware Update menu in
Maintenance tab(Screenshot attached,Fig:2) after logging into the modem using User name ‘admin’ and
password as ‘admin’(Screenshot attached,Fig:1) .It is to be mentioned here that the Firmware Version
will remain same as ‘BSNL 2.0.0’ before and after updation of patch. After the firmware updation the
login User name will remain same(i.e. admin) but password will get changed to the last 8digit of the
modem MAC which is written in the back side of the particular modem. However, modem login
password can be changed in the following ways:
1)Under the password menu in Maintenance tab , “select” in radio button with User Name as admin
2) Put Old Password(last 8 digit of modem MAC), New Password and Confirm Password accordingly
and click over Modify tab. Then old password will get changed.(Screenshot attached,Fig:3)

BSNL Extension of Cashback scheme for all the new and existing BSNL’s
LL/BB/BBoWiFi customers who opts half yearly/annual payment option
(Circular No.R&C-CFA No.163/18-19 dated 02.01.19)
1. It is hereby conveyed that competent authority on recommendation of tariff
committee-CFA has approved the Extension of Cash back scheme for all the new and
existing BSNL’s LL/BB/BBoWiFi customers who opts half yearly/annual payment
option.
The details of the circular No. R&C-CFA No.150/18-19 dated 07.12.18 for Cash back is as follows:-
i. Customers (new and existing) subscribing to annual and half yearly rental
plans will be charged full rental amount and eligible cash back (defined
below) shall be credited back to customer account.
Eg. During New Registration or Plan change to annual option, instead of current practice of charging
the customer with 11/10 months rental, 12 months rental will be charged to customer.
ii. 25% cash back/credit will be given to customers opting for annual plan
and 15% cash back/credit will be given to the customers opting for half yearly
plan.
E.g. if the annual rental is Rs.1000 and GST is Rs.180. Post payment against the invoice, an amount of
Rs.250 will be given as credit adjustment / cash back.
iii. This cash back credited amount is utilizable against any type of payment
customer does in future to BSNL for that number like add on pack, plan
upgrade etc.
iv. In case customer is going for plan change of this service, second cash back
will not happen to this service within the period of one year of taking annual
subscription. Differential amount shall be charged for the service upgrade.
b) The scheme shall be effective for a period upto 31st JAN-2019
2. All other terms and condition shall remain same as per earlier circulars.

BSNL to increase FUP limit for broadband plans, introduces new promotional plans
Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) will soon increase the FUP limit for broadband combo unlimited plans across India. The minimum FUP limit is now doubled to 2GB from existing 1GB, while other plans got FUP limit increase of 2GB-10GB. Further, BSNL has also announced ‘Broadband only’ plans on a promotional basis for 90 days. The new tariff will come into effect on August 1st, 2016 across all circles.
BSNL has upgraded FUP limit for broadband combo plans BBG UL 545 and BBG Combo UL 675 from existing 1GB to 2GB. While plans BBG ULD 795 , BBG Combo ULD 845, BBG Combo ULD 945, BBG Combo ULD 990 and BBG Combo ULD 999, FUP limit has been increased to 10GB. Similarly, FUP limit for plans BBG ULD 1275 and BBG Combo ULD 1445 has been increased to 30GB from existing 20GB. Plans BBG Combo ULD 1495, BBG Combo ULD 1745 and BBG Combo ULD 2799 now comes with FUP limit of 40GB compared to earlier 30GB.

New broadband plans BBG Combo ULD 499, BBG Combo ULD 599 and BBG Combo ULD 749 exclusive for Gurgaon
Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has introduced new broadband plans BBG Combo ULD 499, BBG Combo ULD 599 and BBG Combo ULD 749 exclusive for Gurgaon SSA of Haryana Circle. The new broadband plans will be available for period of 90 days as promotional offer with effect from July 1st, 2016.
The plans priced at Rs 499, Rs 599 and Rs 749 offer speeds of 2Mbps and 4Mbps before hitting FUP limit of 12GB, 15GB and 50GB respectively. However, as with other unlimited broadband plans, the post FUP usage is limited to 512kbps. BSNL also offer unlimited free calls between 9 PM to 7 AM to any network in India is available.
