 1.What is Meeting Junction?
   Meeting Junction is a conferencing service provided by BSNL that integrates both Audio
and PC conferencing together and offers a single point of registration, accounting and
billing for the customers. It takes advantage of traditional TDM based telephone voice
 network and integrates with the new and evolving IP based network to offer flexibility
and ease to the users. This is a pre-paid service that allows BSNL’s business customers
 to meet from anywhere at anytime. Meeting Junction delivers the ability to do more
 by minimizing travel, share documents more efficiently in real-time and by improving accountability. With BSNL’s Meeting Junction service organizations will increase
productivity, forecast costs, decrease expenses, expand customer and organization
 reach and generate more efficient revenue generation.

2.Is it meant for only Businesses?
   No, it is meant for everyone. In addition to the business packages for organisation,
product is available for any individual user to set up family conferences for special
occasions such as wedding, graduation announcements etc. Any small business or
a traveling salesperson can also use this service option for increased productivity.

   While other conferencing systems provide standalone voice conferencing or web
 based conferencing, Meeting Junction integrates both into a single domain to offer a
 unique platform for conferencing and collaboration across the board that is flexible,
 easy to use and cost effective. Registration and subscription of both Audio and PC
conferencing can be done through a common web portal Meeting Junction is a
 pre-paid service compared to the post paid service offered by other competitors.
Pre-paid service has various advantages in managing and controlling communication
costs both for enterprises as well as for individuals.Meeting Junction also offers
tiered tariff plans for customers to select, based on their needs and as per their budget.

4.What are the unique features offered by Meeting Junction?
   The Salient Features of Meeting Junction Service include:
       a.  BSNL Landline / Post Paid Mobile Subscribers can register and subscribe to
 the service through Meeting Junction (MJ) portal.
       b.  It offers full featured is the audio service Conference with Moderator controls
 and is available to all Post Paid mobile and land line users of BSNL. Thus, one can
 join the conference from work, from home, or while traveling.
       c.  All registered and authorized users can access the conference facility by
 dialing a toll free number and join the conference by using the assigned unique
authorization PIN (Personal Identification Number). During the conference, the
user has a list of features like muting etc. as needed. This is available in the user
manual provided.
       d.  PC conferencing is also available to all registered users of MJ. It is accessible
to all broadband users of any network. The user must have a PC with headphones
 to take advantage of all the features. VOIP is included as a part of the service that
 can be used on PC conferencing.
       e.  It is a fully fledged web based collaboration technology that includes document
 and presentation sharing with speaker control and participation sharing.
       f.  Web based Seminars with broadcasting to large audiences of up to 1000.
This is called Webinar capability included as a part of the PC conferencing.
       g.  Scheduled meetings can appear automatically on MS office Calendar or on
 Lotus Notes Calendar.
       h.  h) Uniform interface to set up meeting in any of the two domains (Audio and PC)
 with meeting Id, passwords and security is a uniqueness of MJ service.

in broadcast mode and play video clips

6. Do I need any Video Conferencing Hardware?
   First of all, it is not a Video Conferencing service. However, for PC conferencing a
limited video is possible through the built in    camera in the PC. No additional
 proprietary hardware is required. For Audio Conferencing, any Landline telephone
 or any Mobile
phone is adequate. All resources are available in the BSNL network. For PC based
conferencing, a broadband connection (preferably BSNL), a webcam and Headset
 (preferably USB based) are required.

7. What are the applications of Meeting Junction Service?
   The Meeting Junction platform facilitates the registration and subscription to
any of the published plans, setting up a meeting with     invitee list, and inviting
the moderator and the participants with separate. Meeting Junction portal
platform can also notify all     meeting attendees with necessary information.
This moderation and set up is done via the web portal. This unique integrated
 Audio     and PC conferencing can be used for a plethora of applications such as:
