Rationalization of ISD STVs under prepaid mobile services in Chennai Telephones

Rationalization of ISD STVs under prepaid mobile services in Chennai Telephones with effect from 23-10-2013 is made as detailed below:-  i)                  Shorter Validity ISD STVs for 7 days with MRP Rs. 18, 11, 16, and 9 are withdrawn wef 23-10-13. Group “E” ISD STV meant for Saudi Arabia and UAE with MRP Rs.26 with 30 days validity also withdrawn wef 23-10-2013. ii)                Revised tariff for ISD STVs is as under:-   Sl.No. Countries ISD Voice Call Rate in Rs./Min Rate Per International SMS in Rs. Talk Value available with the above STVs are “Nil”. a)      The reduced ISD Voice and International SMS rate will also be allowed while roaming in BSNL Network. b)      The countries for which no reduced ISD Voice call charges/International SMS rate have been prescribed, normal ISD tariff will be applicable. c)      All the customers who recharged the ISD STVs (both 7/30 days validity) up to 22/10/2013 will avail the respective tariff till the validity period of the STVs are over.
