Rationalization of activation of data plans under prepaid mobile services has been made in Chennai Telephones with effect from 18.12.2013. i)        The details  of New Data Plan Voucher are as under :-  Sl.No Particulars Details a) SIM Rs.20 (Normal SIM); Rs.200 (256 K USIM) b) MRP of Plan Voucher (incl. of S.Tax) Rs.94 c) Main Account Validity One Year. Further Extension of Validity, through same plan voucher. d) Free Data Usage 1GB e) Validity of Freebies 30 days from the date of activation f) Applicability For 2G & 3G data plan activation and validity extension (for Data Card purchased from BSNL or from outside market/bundling partner). g) Base Voice Tariff Plan As per prepaid General Plan i)        The above free data usage is allowed at the time of activation only. ii)      Henceforth, Plan activation to prepaid data plan with the sale of BSNL data card (including reverse bundling) and also for the purchase of Data Card from outside market will be through PV 94 only. iii)    Existing PV 51 & PV 102 with SUK 10 will be withdrawn wef 23:59 Hrs of 17-12-13. iv)    Henceforth, all the customers who enrolled through PV 51 & PV 102 with SUK 10 have to use PV94 only for extending their data plan validity. v)      Apple IPAD PV 74/- will also be withdrawn w.e.f 23:59 Hrs of 17-12-13.Henceforth all the IPAD Plan Customers should also use PV94 only for extending their data plan validity. vi)    Pantel 2G plan voucher 32 and Pantel 3G plan voucher 52 will also be withdrawn. • Installation charges and Modem charges shall be collected in advance through Demand Note through the local commercial system at the time of application for Prepaid BB connection.
• In case of customer having his/her own modem, only Installation charges shall be collected in advance through Demand Note through the local commercial system at the time of application for Prepaid BB connection.

B.Creation of Prepaid Broadband account: The creation of Prepaid BB account will be FREE of any charges (other than mentioned at A above) and the account will be created with complementary balance of 50 MB and with validity of 15 days from the date of creation.

For limited plans, balance usage available if any will be carried forward, in case of r echarge within the Grace Period *GP -1 (i.e. 15 days). Beyond 15 days (*GP-1), balance usage available if any will not be carried forward, but the customer can recharge his account upto another 45 days (** GP-2). After expiry of the additional grace period of 45 days (**GP-2), the account of the customer shall be deleted from the system.
