The current voice / data usage for postpaid 2G / 3G customer
Dear BSNL customer,
The current voice / data usage for postpaid 2G / 3G customer is available in BSNL’s customer
care portal http://portal.bsnl.in
Procedure is as follows:
1. Open the site on Internet Explorer browser.
2. Click on upper tab: “Duplicate bill / usage details”.
3. Click on Left menu: “Usage details”.
4. Enter Mobile number and Account number.
5. Click on <generate PIN>.
6. You will shortly receive an SMS on the specified mobile giving your PIN number.
7. Enter this PIN.
8. Now you can see the current unbilled usage on the screen.
9. This information can be saved as a PDF document by clicking on “Save as PDF”.
BSNL Revision of SMS tariff 12-12-2012
Revision of SMS tariff
BSNL has implemented revision of SMS tariff by TRAI under 2G & 3G Prepaid Mobile Services with effect from 12-12-2012. The details are given below:-
a) Upto one hundred SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan/STV
subscribed by the customer; and
b) Beyond 100 SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS
whichever is more.
c) For the customers who have subscribed to any volume based SMS STVs(prepaid), upto
100 SMS per SIM per day will be free and beyond that the SMS charges will be as per the plan or
50 paise per SMS whichever is more.
