1. Name of the Course : Telecom Technology Awareness
2. Course duration : One/Two/Three/Four/Five/Six… weeks.
3. Course Modules :
i)
Mobile Communication Concept (GSM &CDMA)
ii)
Broad band, Intranet & Internet.
iii) OFC Communication Concept.
iv) Digital Technology.
v)
Electrical aspects.
vi) Civil aspects.
Students can opt any one or two or three or both the modules.
4. Timings : 1000 Hrs to 1300 Hrs
5. Who can apply : Students of BE/Diploma in the disciplines of,
i)
Electronics & Communication Engineering.
ii)
Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
iii) Computer Science Engineering.
iv) Information Science Engineering.
v)
Civil Engineering.
6. Course fee : Rs 1125/- (Inclusive of taxes),
25% rebate for one additional Course.
7. How to apply : The registration form duly filled along with the following
documents is to be sent or can be submitted in person to SDE (Trg CO), V
floor, O/o PGM Telecom Mangalore.
a) Two passport size photos (One should be pasted on registration form)
b) Photo copy of the Identity card issued by College/Institute.
8. Registration forms : Registration forms can be downloaded from the website
www.karnataka.bsnl.co.in/mangalore or can be collected from SDE (Trg CO), V
floor, O/o PGM Telecom Mangalore in all working days from 1000 to 1600 Hrs.
9. Date of Commencement : 27th May, 3rd June, 10th June, 17th June, 24th June, 1st
July, 8th July, 15th July, 22nd July, 29th July, 5th Aug, 12th Aug 2013 ….
10. DK TD Mangalore will issue Certificate to Trainees on successful completion of
the course. & in addition website (training.bsnl.co.in) entry will be made.
