2. You can access high speed internet using Laptop/PC and GPRS activated mobile.

a) Connect mobile with Laptop/PC through a datacable or bluetooth.

b) Configure Laptop/PC for dial-up internet access.

c) Dial *99# and allow internet access through your mobile.

d) Now you can surf the internet.

Use Dynamic Locking Facility to Control Access from your Telephone Please check with the DE ( Intl ) and ascertain the type of your Exchange. for password registration dial 123 followed by the password (4 digits) you want two time FUNCTION E10B & OCB Exchanges DIAL EWSD Exchanges DIAL i) Password Registration 123 xxxx xxxx xxxx :dial twice your 4 digit password 123 0000 xxxx xxxx : your 4 digit password ii) Allow all Calls 124 xxxx 0 iii) Bar only STD Calls 124 xxxx 1 iv) Bar STD Trunk (180) & Internet (172) Calls 124 xxxx 2 v) Allow NSD, Cellular, Local & Trunk Calls 124 xxxx 3 vi) Bar all Out going Calls 124 xxxx 4 vii) Change your Password 123 xxxx yyyy Where, xxxx : Existing Password & yyyy : New Password. Note : Functions (ii) and (v) are not possible from STD Barred Telephone. Dynamic Locking from ISDN Phone Line This facility is available only to ISDN subscribers of EWSD exchanges. The procedure is similar as above, but instead of 123 you will have to dial H 23 and instead of 124, you will have to dial H 24. Also, each set of digits has to be separated with the digit H. The dialing has to be finished with #. e.g. to bar STD + Trunk calls + Internet calls from an ISDN line, you will have to dial H 24 H xxxx H 2 #.

Ten Tips on using the STD Facility of your Phone

• Dynamic Locking Facility is provided to you automatically free of charge.
  
  
• Unlock your STD facility only when you need to make a STD call, else, keep it locked. Make this a habit.
  
  
• If you use Dynamic Locking facility using a phone set with digit display, remember to lift handset again & replace after dialing any stray digit. This is to ensure that later on no one can see your Dynamic Locking password by pressing the “Redial” key available on most phone sets these days.
  
  
• Your 4-digit Dynamic Locking Password Code should be easy to remember for You but difficult to guess by others.
  
  
• If anyone attempts to break your Dynamic Locking password, changing of Locking status will be permanently disabled after ten wrong attempts.
  
  
• If, for any reason, your Dynamic Locking gets permanently locked, you will have to contact the DE ( Intl) of your Exchange and after the facility is revived, you will have to start afresh with registration of your Password code etc.
  
  
• While locking STD using Dynamic Locking, it is preferable to use the option (iv) described above.( i.e. STD + Internet + Trunk Calls barred ). While unlocking, unless you want to make an ISD call, unlock by using Option (v) (i.e. only NSD + Trunk Calls allowed)or, for normally STD barred lines option (iii) described above, so that in case you forget to lock again, none can misuse your phone to much advantage.
  
  
• While dialing any phone number, please dial each digit carefully with a minimum pause between digits so as to ensure that the digits are correctly registered in your Exchange. Remember, any wrong dialing may lead to connection being established to a wrong no. which will cost you money as soon as the called party (even though wrong No.) answers!
  
  
• After finishing any STD call, replace your handset and next lift again to check that you have got back dial tone on your phone. This is to ensure that your earlier STD call has indeed been disconnected.
  
  
• To check if STD is accessible from your phone, you may dial 011-161 & wait for hearing a continuous 800 Hz. tone from Delhi. Please do this check as soon as you get a new connection.
