BSNL Landline-Value Added Service



There are a number of supplementary and value added services you can choose from. Some of the services are offered to you as absolute free :
FreeOnly usage charge
 Call Waiting Roaming
 Call Forwarding Voice Mail
 Call Holding Short Message Services
 Calling Line Identification (CLI)      
Services like, Detailed Billing, SMS are offered at a very affordable rate. Use of these features along with normal telephony will make your life more easier. So you can make yourself available anytime and anywhere.


Dynamic Lock or STD/ISD Call locking facility :  Write to DE(intl.) of your Exchange intimating your requiremwnt. This facility is FREE.

"Wake-Up" Call or "Morning Alarm facility" {To be in time is important to you. Trust your phone to remind you}

This facility is provided to all phones FREE of Charge.


With this facility you can receive a second incoming call while you are already engaged with a call. You will be prompted with a beep tone and you can see the caller’s number, you can answer the call if you wish. You shall be charged for second incoming call also.
To activate : Dial 118 ( replace handset on Ack. Tone ).

To De-Activate : Dial 119 ( replace Handset on Ack. Tone)

To Attend Waiting Call :
On hearing the “Call Waiting” tone, within 15 Sec., tap Hook Switch of your phone. You get a special dial tone.

Now Dial “1” to attend the waiting call disconnecting your previous conversation.
OR Dial “2” to attend the waiting call keeping your existing conversation on hold.
To revert to holding party : Again tap Hook Switch, Dial ."1” 
 


You can forward an incoming call landing on your mobile or landline to any  desired Mobile or landline . Call charges for the diverted call from your mobile to the destination number will be billed against your mobile number in addition to incoming air time charge. If you do not want to miss a call or want to make certain that your incoming calls are correctly handled when you are unable to answer them, you may use this call diverting facility.

To activate call transfer : Dial 114 - NF ( Telephone number where call to be transfered) ( replace handset on Ack. Tone ).

All your I/C calls will now ring no. NF

To Revert to Normal : Dial 115 ( replace Handset on Ack. Tone )

To activate call forwarding in your mobile you have to input the diverted number as per following format :-

            +91<STD Code> <number> for PSTN number.

            +91<Mobile number> for Mobile number.

You can forward your calls for different conditions - No answer, Busy, Not reachable, All calls unconditionally etc. 
Tips! Easiest way to invoke or remove call forwarding from your handset

**67*    To cancel call diversion on busy.
**61*Telephone Number#To invoke call diversion on no replay.

* Telephone number means - where you want to divert your calls.
Call Holding 

You can hold an on going call and make another call, charging will be done separately for  both the calls.

 Short Message Service (SMS)
You can send and receive text message through your mobile. Just customise your mobile through going to the “Mail or Message” menu and in the “Service Center” enter the No.   +919434099997. You have to do this at the first time only. Now start using SMS.

To send Message :

Compose your message going to the "Mail/Message" menu. Send message to the destination number. For outstation SMS add +91 before the mobile number.

To read Message :

You will be prompted with new message. Just read it going to the read menu. Delivery of SMS is guaranteed by the system. If the called number is switched off or out of range during   message send, message will be delivered as soon as the called number is switched on or  enters coverage zone.
